Operator by instinct.
Builder by practice.
For over two decades, I've been the person leaders call when what they built has to run—and the story behind it has to be told. I've led a company through turnaround to acquisition, built brands from a blank page, and worked in the operator's chair across entertainment, hospitality and food, healthcare, and e-commerce.
The work never fit one title. I learned to see how people, systems, and ideas connect; where a process stops working; and what it takes to make the whole thing move. MIGLEX is where that experience finally points at one problem.
02 / WHERE IT BEGAN
Long before any of that, there was my father.
I helped him build a commercial equipment service business with relationships spanning more than thirty years, one repair at a time.
I grew up inside the trade: the technicians, the equipment, the kitchens and walk-ins and back-of-house machines that fail at the worst possible hour, and the people who know how to bring them back.
My father could walk into a kitchen and read it. Decades of work told him what had failed, what the last repair missed, and what a machine would need before it gave any obvious warning.
A younger technician might see a broken machine.
He saw its history.
That kind of knowledge lives in one person.
When that person retires, it can leave with them.
No manual holds all of it. I wanted to know how to keep a lifetime of mastery—and make it useful to the next person, at the moment they need it.
